My brother owns an office building and he uses a lot of electricity. He’s been thinking about installing some solar panels to help reduce energy costs. We’ll have to find a company to help him install some panels.

Comment on As-Is & As-Repaired Values for Investors by Luis Manuel Caballero https://www.bostonappraisal.com/as-is-as-repaired-values-for-investors/#comment-11738 Wed, 16 Feb 2022 21:19:31 +0000 https://www.bostonappraisal.com/?p=473#comment-11738 Appraisers know the definitions of “as is” & “ARV”. We just want to know how to the actual appraisal report. The 1004 form has a spot for one market value, which is typically “As Is”. Where can I include the ARV on the appraisal report? I have selected about 8 comparable sales from from $300,000 for fair physical condition like the subject from $425000 in average to good physical condition. Do I have to do two sale grids for “As Is” value and another for After Repaired Value? Thanks, Luis

My brother just got involved in a car accident recently. He mentioned to me about Vehicle Damage Appraisal for his insurance claim. Comment on What an Appraisal Report is Really Telling You by Tammie Houston https://www.bostonappraisal.com/what-is-your-appraisal-report-telling-you/#comment-8207 Tue, 28 Sep 2021 06:12:08 +0000 https://www.bostonappraisal.com/?p=2805#comment-8207 Thanks for letting me know that real estate consultants will tell me how the price of the home I’m planning on buying compares to others in the same neighborhood. The fact they can tell me a lot about the home as well, including the age and systems installed in it will be a big help in finding a home that’s fit for me and my family. We’re moving out of our old house and are looking for a place near to where my husband is going to be working, and I would hope that wherever we move has the same amenities we have currently. That way I won’t have to adjust to too many changes when it comes to household amenities.

I agree that this post shared that it is important to improve the condition of the property as it will impact the value. Since I am meeting my sister for lunch, I will definitely advise her to consider getting it improved.
